So the canola fields were gone when we went to do C.’s maternity shots but luckily – the wheat fields were stunning! I actually went back to this spot last night and the farmer was harvesting this field, so we are lucky we went when we did. Not to mention the perfect lighting we ran in to and the lovely subjects I had to work with – just a beautiful combination. I hope you find some shots you love and we get to meet your little one very soon!

I love the canola fields right now – nothing says summer like a huge field of canola with a bright blue Alberta sky behind it. Add to that a beautiful mama to be and you’ve got perfection!
