This is Baby J… he is the first babe I’ve seen in a long time with so much THICK blonde hair! It is awesome! He was a very sweet little guy with very sweet parents – a match made in heaven. He even gave us some smiles and we got to use a few new things for his session like the new chair I grabbed at an antique sale last weekend. Meet Baby N. – just 11 days old and cute as a button. He was a great little model and we got lots of shots of this little guy who even graced us with a few smiles along the way! I love the shots on the stump, he just seemed to fit perfectly and be so content perched up there. It was so nice to meet both of you L. and E., I hope you find some images you love!

I apologize for the delay – I was away at a workshop and then took a few days off with the family. I am back now catching up on some editing and design and waiting for all my August babies to arrive! Before I left for my workshop – I had the opportunity to have a session with Baby H. We managed to squeeze him in last minute and I’m so thrilled that we did! He was just a cuddly little guy and I love his hair and those awesome forehead wrinkles! Thanks for you patience mom and dad, I will have your gallery up very soon…

Meet Baby W….a sweet little thing with one of the coolest names in town. She was exceptionally fun to photograph – with a little help from mom and dad along the way! We got to try out my new (but really, really old) vintage scale which turned out awesome. And we had great weather again so managed to bolt outside for a few shots in the yard while avoiding the mosquitos and direct sun. It’s always a bit of a gamble never knowing if it’s going to be too sunny, too rainy, too windy or too buggy – but we got it. Mom and dad – congratulations, she’s a gem. Here are some of my favorite shots of Baby E. – a petite little angel who was a dream to photograph. We managed to get some shots with her adoring siblings (which was a bonus!) and had so much fun with her because she looked so good in rich colors and was just small enough to use some of my new props I’ve been wanting to use! Meet Baby P. – another little one waiting for me upon my return from Mexico! She has adoring twin brothers who came along for the session – so needless to say she can sleep through noise! We actually thought maybe it was too quiet for her to sleep – she was pretty awake and alert for the majority of the session. I’m back! Sorry for the absence – we were on a much needed vacation in Mexcio where my brother got married. We had an amazing time and came back relaxed and refreshed. I’m just starting to catch up on emails etc. so I appreciate your patience. If you did phone or email me in the last two weeks – feel free to send me a reminder email in case I have forgotten anyone.
On to the yumminess. Meet Baby H. His mom is a talented photographer in Calgary Virginia from Sweet Ginger Photography. We have been ‘online dating’ for about a year now so when she found out she was pregnant I was excited to do her newborn photos. I drove down to Calgary before we left on vacation and spent a few hours with Baby H. and Virginia. It’s always a bit nerve racking taking photos for another photographer – but in this case, Baby H. was such an awesome little guy that I kind of forgot to be nervous and just had fun with him!
