Just finishing off a few last sessions before a little Christmas break. Meet Little Miss A., 3 weeks old but she arrived a little early so was still under six pounds! Such a petite, sleepy little sweetheart – she was an absolute joy to photograph. It was lovely meeting all of you – I hope you enjoy your early Christmas surprise! Wow, I cannot believe it’s been a month since I updated my blog….probably a good time to come clean and admit that I am not crazy in love with blogging. I love taking pictures, hanging out with my clients, editing etc., but I’m a pretty private person and blogging just does NOT come naturally to me! Something to work on I suppose…
Anyways, there will be a few changes to both my blog and website coming this week. I’ve been obsessing forever over my new website and think am ready to just go live with it and then make any tweaks needed over the next month or so. So please be patient if things are down, or slow, or just strange. Hopefully things will be back to normal soon!
In the meantime, I wanted to post some of the wedding shots I took in Mexico in April. I kind of got sidetracked and never did get them up here – so a few of my faves to get you through this transition period! Looking back I still am blown away at how beautiful everything was and how it was such an amazing wedding. Destination weddings – love them….

Meet baby C! Such a nice little bundle – she came from out of town so that usually means they get their big nap in the car, but she was really great. She was super cuddly and we got some great shots of her including a few outside. I LOVE her hair, you don’t see this much hair very often and it just made her look so girly. You may remember this little one from a year ago when I did her newborn photos. She was a sweetie then and is still a sweetie but now has a bit of spice added which makes her a riot! She was pretty cooperative for a one year old and we managed to get lots of cute shots of her – as long as we did things her way. Sounds a lot like my toddler – I warned M. what she might be in for! I got to hang out with S. and take some shots of her beautiful belly last week. I took family pictures for her and her ‘fur baby’ a few years ago and am really looking forward to meeting the newest member of the family once he/she arrives! Enjoy your images – I will have your gallery up soon.

I had the pleasure of photographing this sweet little guy who’s parents won a free newborn session (and some other goodies) through Pregnancy Awareness Month sponsored by the hippest moms in town over at Modern Mama. Baby A. was such a great little model – we got some great shots with mom and dad and then of course a bunch of him on his own just being cute! Meet Baby K. and his crew… a calm and peaceful little man with the coolest brother in town. I was so impressed with his three year old brother who helped me tons and cooperated so well for a few shots with his little bro. I know I’ve been neglecting my blog – it’s just been a really busy month with orders and of course holiday celebrations with the family.
I want to thank everyone for your support over the last year with my transition to photographing newborns – it was a great year and I look forward to more great clients in the new year. Happy Holidays to everyone.
A little snap of the kiddos and an X-ray of my broken toe just because I think it’s kind of neat! You can’t really tell where the break was but it still kind of blows my mind that they can grab a picture of your bones. The break did slow me down for a month but it’s fine now (I hope!). I won’t even tell you how I broke it because it’s not a very exciting story and just further illustrates that I’m not the most graceful creature on the planet!

Meet Baby M. …one of the calmest most content babies I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. His family brought him from out of town so this little guy had already had a road trip, a night in a hotel and a trip to West Ed – and yet he still slept with a smile throughout our entire session. I’m so lucky - four newborns in one week - it doesn’t get any better than that! Meet Baby M. – she was born breech just like my first born and I have to admit that as a photographer I was super excited to work with her little frog legs! She was so used to being curled up for nine months that she was super content to be curled up in a little ball all morning making for some really cute squishy shots.
